Why I set up the tea party for Gatsby

There are many answers to why I set up the tea party for Gatsby. After going to multiple of Gatsby's thrown events I felt pressured to set this up for him after he asked. He told me can you throw a tea party for Daisy and I. I know right from there that he had a thing for Daisy and knowing what a great guy he was, I thought that I'll do it just because why not. That next day I woke up to servants I had never seen before in my house bringing in flowers, mowing the lawn and other maintenance things. I was confused at first, but realized they were hired by Gatsby to make this event happen. Another reason that I did my best to make this happen was because I felt that Gatsby would be a better fit for my lovely cousin than Tom ever would be. While at the tea party I noticed quickly Gatsby was all over Daisy and felt a little weird about it because she was married so I left to get away from the situation. When I came back in I realized that they were flirting with each other and was again feeling pretty weird about this situation. Had I set up this meeting and maybe jeopardized the relationship of Daisy and Tom, my old friend, without really even thinking much would happen? I really hope that things work out in the end for the two of them and that I won't be blamed for anything.
