Obviously I knew the answer. He had been accused of murder and he will never be able to tell his side of the story. No one knew the true story of Myrtle's death and they never will because even as much as I may say he was wrongly accused, no one will believe it because it makes him a typical rich person, but he wasn't. People in this time only took advantage of rich people but once they were outed by society they scattered and didn't defend them at all. Everyone at those parties he always threw, the people that came in and spoiled his money away at the party that was held just to make others happy, those people never showed up. Not even Daisy who was loved deeply by Gatsby came. This is what most shocked me. Gatsby would have done anything for her if she asked, unlike Tom. It is really hard to go against family, but Gatsby had never done anything to hurt anyone and for someone like Daisy to have Gatsby basically save her life and take the blame for a crime that she committed is true love. It's one thing not to take the blame, but to not even show up at his funeral when you wouldn't even be on this Earth if it wasn't for him. That to me is the most pure form of selfishness if I have ever seen it. I cannot believe what I am saying, but I also cannot believe what I saw her do all that time.

What was I thinking about Myrtle's death
I could hardly swallow when I came to the realization that Gatsby had killed Myrtle. When the officer said it was a yellow car at the incident I just knew who it was. At that point I was fuming. I loved Gatsby and believed that he was a genuinely great person. Normally when you find a wealthy man it's someone that thinks they are untouchable. They think that they are completely above everyone else and are even above the law. Gatsby however had proved me different. This was a person that took his wealth and made other people's lives better and threw big huge parties for people he didn't even know. Although after this all those thoughts completely shattered in my mind. When I got home and confronted Gatsby he seemed shell-shocked. After explaining and getting his piece out I realized that it was Daisy who had been driving the car, and her not Gatsby hit Myrtle and killed her. I went quickly from thinking that Gatsby was so awful I could even kill him with my own bare hands to again restoring my faith in him and I couldn't believe he could take the blame for someone that had thrown him aside all this time and was actually terrible to him. I don't know of any person that could love someone more than Gatsby loves Daisy. Not even Tom would ever think about doing something like this for Daisy. Gatsby had outdone himself completely and there is nothing that Daisy could do to ever repay him of that debt.

What I was feeling when I met Jordan
As I walked in the door of Tom and Daisy's house, it was the first time I had ever been there. It was weird to come and see them sitting with another woman. I wondered who this breathtaking woman was with dark brown hair. Her eyes sparkled before me and drew me in closer. Jordan was her name, although she was quiet in her demeanor. After this encounter I saw her more and more, saw her at Gatsby's parties and other places out in public. The more that we met and talked the closer we became and the more she seemed to open her shell and open up to me. After that day I went to my house and a few days went by. When Gatsby threw a party I attended and saw her there with Tom and Daisy. That's when I saw her again and again and it made me realize that this was much more than I had thought before. Although at this moment I don't really know what I want. Jordan presents to me something that I think I may be very interested in. However, at the same time something looms over her that makes me think otherwise. Honestly I cannot get a real grip on her. When I think I have her figured out, she does something that completely turns my head and makes me think otherwise. Whatever happens I hope I know her for years to come because no matter what she does she is a great person.

Why I set up the tea party for Gatsby
There are many answers to why I set up the tea party for Gatsby. After going to multiple of Gatsby's thrown events I felt pressured to set this up for him after he asked. He told me can you throw a tea party for Daisy and I. I know right from there that he had a thing for Daisy and knowing what a great guy he was, I thought that I'll do it just because why not. That next day I woke up to servants I had never seen before in my house bringing in flowers, mowing the lawn and other maintenance things. I was confused at first, but realized they were hired by Gatsby to make this event happen. Another reason that I did my best to make this happen was because I felt that Gatsby would be a better fit for my lovely cousin than Tom ever would be. While at the tea party I noticed quickly Gatsby was all over Daisy and felt a little weird about it because she was married so I left to get away from the situation. When I came back in I realized that they were flirting with each other and was again feeling pretty weird about this situation. Had I set up this meeting and maybe jeopardized the relationship of Daisy and Tom, my old friend, without really even thinking much would happen? I really hope that things work out in the end for the two of them and that I won't be blamed for anything.

What I was feeling when I attended Gatsby's funeral
I couldn't believe that I had become so involved in someone's life that I had just met soon before. Unfortunately there were only about a few people there. I was completely outraged at this act because of all the parties that he hosted and invited thousands to them, only this few amount cared to show up. A man that paid out his own pocket to make others lives well wasn't repaid at all and these people ended up basically just taking advantage of him. I enjoyed talking with his father at his funeral however. It was good to connect with someone that didn't see Gatsby as a man that just threw really good parties and actually saw him as a decent human being. When I had first met Gatsby I was a little taken aback about what to think of him. Here was this man that kept a very low profile but as far as his parties they were anything but low profile and seemed like he almost wanted to show off. To me, his memory will never be forgotten. Not many people came to his funeral but in my eyes I don't really care because all the people that showed up were the ones that really mattered to him and it was good to connect with them as well. I am now on my way home to grieve privately without all these people around. I cannot believe that he is truly gone and I wish this was all just a dream.

What was I thinking... At Gatsby's first party
As I entered this grand palace, I finally got a real glimpse at what I had been hearing night after night at my next-door neighbor's house. Booze and dancing. The two key ingredients for a good party, at least I could tell that Gatsby agreed, as that was all I could ever see at these parties. I found it strange though that everyone around me was questioning who this Gatsby person was. It astounded me that at the hundreds of people here, no one seemed to know who Gatsby was or anything about him.
After I found Jordan at the party we decided to look around for this Gatsby fellow. We dipped in between party-goers and stumbled into a library where we had found him, alas it wasn't. Now after holding a conversation with a man about the war, I mentioned how I was invited to the party by Gatsby, when he turned and said that he was Gatsby. Shock! As embarrassing as it sounds it opened up the night to a really good party, and I hope to go to more and learn even more about this Gatsby fellow.
